Torrentz.eu shut down without any warning. This Torrent website was launched in 2003 and it was the most visited torrent sites with millions of visitors per day.

Torrentz was a free, fast and powerful meta-search engine combining results from dozens of search engines.

All Torrentz domains feature the same page. This includes the main .EU domain and its backups .ME, .CH, and .IN. The site's HTTPS version features the same messages.

Last month Kickass Torrent admin 'Artem Vaulin', a 30-year-old Ukrainian national was arrested.

Many copyright holders were not happy with the site with both RIAA and MPAA have reported the site to the U.S. Government in recent years, there is no news of any arrest or legal takedown of the site in this case.
