Top 20 Most Malware Infected Cities In United States
It’s probably safe to assume at this point that you or someone you know may have been affected by a virus or malware. If you haven’t experienced this torture, kudos.
A list of the top 20 US cities infected from malware has been released by Enigma Software (makers of the SpyHunter anti-spyware solution). Whatever the telemetry data received from the SpyHunter product, ranking is based on that and 150 US cities are considered only.
Comparison between 2014 and 2015 data:
In 2014, Tampa, Florida was the city with most malware infections in the US. In 2015 also Tampa was in first position with infection rate 5 times bigger than the national average.
In previous year 3rd place is occupied by the city, Saint Louis, Missouri, having infection rate 4 times bigger than national average. But in 2015 year it has been replaced by Orlando, Florida
Apart from these cities the rest position is occupied by Denver, Atlanta, Newark, Salt Lake City, Madison, Cleveland, and Cincinnati and the biggest riser in this ranking was Buffalo, who jumped from 47th to 17th.
Patrick Morganelli, senior vice president of Technology at Enigma Software said that
Because of the growth in online communication - be it Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or other social networking platforms, there are now more ways for cybercriminals to reach out and trick people into clicking on links.

By this way we can come to know that easiest way to inject malware affects is through websites and is well utilized by the adult websites. It propagates while downloading anything from untrusted websites, it can also come to you as a link in the form of emails, in social media messages etc.
